Prepare to Fly

If possible, its best to check-in online with your chosen airline's website or app.

Before you arrive, it’s always a good idea to check luggage requirements with your chosen airline. Oversized luggage, including surfboards, bikes, prams and other large items should be pre booked and allow for extra time at the airport.

Please note, Busselton Margaret River Airport does not cater for pet transportation.

Checking In

A drop off / pick up zone is located in front of the terminal building as well as short term parking bays (maximum 2 hours).

The check-in area is located in the Departures on the left side of the terminal. Make sure you have your ticket or booking reference number handy and proceed to your airline’s counter.  

Security Screening

Busselton Margaret River Airport is a security controlled airport. 

The Australian Government regulates the security requirements at Australian airports, including Busselton Margaret River Airport.  Being a security controlled airport, every passenger and visitor passing through to secure areas, and their bags, are screened for prohibited items and dangerous goods.
