Melbourne services launch postponed

Today Jetstar have confirmed they will not be launching the Melbourne-Busselton passenger flights as planned on 25 March due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Information for affected travellers will be made available by Jetstar in due course on their website.

Whilst we were excited by the prospect of welcoming our first visitors from the eastern states there are greater circumstances at play and we are confident that everyone understands the reasons for this decision.

For our continuing airport users we remain committed to prioritising your health and safety. In these challenging times, remembering that the chain is only as strong as the weakest link, we ask that everyone practises good hygiene and social distancing.

As a community we are all in this together, despite the increased uncertainty it is important that we remain calm, cautious and focused. Not only that, it is vital we retain our sense of humanity.
